A soldier attached to 'Operation Safe Haven' was killed on Tuesday when gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed Konnan Soja area of Jos, Plateau state - in a red Gulf car. According to reports, the hoodlums stormed one Alhaji Idris Gambo's house around 7:50 pm and took away the 21 year old lady.


The deceased identified as Lance Corporal Abdullahi was shot while attempting to rescue the lady by the assailants. May his soul rest in peace.
