RwGNews: FREEDOM FIGHTER, GENERAL EGBERI PAPA APPLAUDS PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON APPROVAL OF ESTABLISHMENT OF BELEMA OIL TERMINAL IN KULA - www.RwGOnline.com

The Niger Delta Sea Watchers Association has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari on his approval of the establishment of the Belema Oil Terminal in Kula, Akuku Toru local government area, saying it will mark the end of the struggle for resource control by the people of the Niger Delta. 

President of the Association and freedom fighter, Sobomabo Jackrich popularly known as General Egberi Papa who made the commendation when he led members of the group in a celebration walk in various communities of the Kalabari Kingdom, said the move will spur the president and founder of Belema Oil Producing Limited, Tein Jackrich Jr to do more in empowering the youths of the Niger Delta and the country at large. 

He described Mr Jackrich Jr as a great philanthropist who has demonstrated his love and passion for the well-being of youths across the country through the employment of over three thousand youths in less than three years of Belema Oil's operation.

The Warlord further noted the gains recorded so far with just less than three years of operation of Belema Oil Producing Limited, has justified the need for more operational oil licenses to be issued indigenous companies in order to fast track the development of the Niger Delta region and will further advance national wealth creation.

The leader of the Niger Delta Sea Watchers Association, General Egberi Papa equally applauded President Buhari for confirming the appointment of the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Muhammed.

He pledged the group's commitment to partner the police and other security agencies to ensure the safety of oil installations in the Niger Delta by providing them with useful information that will aide in securing the Niger Delta territorial waters. 

The leader said that the NDSWA has been on surveillance and patrol across the waterways in the protection of the oil installations from being vandalized by any group in the guise of agitation.

General Egberi Papa however commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state. 

Meanwhile, other senior commanders of the group equally applauded President Buhari on the move saying it will open up the Niger Delta development for accelerated growth and development. 

We gathered the NDSWA has been on surveillance around the critical infrastructure in recent times to ensure it is protected from illegal bunkers and sea pirates upon hearing rumors of planned attack of the facilities by some miscreants.
