PMAN SETS UP CARETAKER GOVERNMENT IN RIVERS STATE; RE-APPOINTS BENIBO AS SECRETARY.
The National Working Committee - NWC of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria - PMAN has reappointed Ezekiel Benibo as Secretary of PMAN Rivers State Chapter.
His appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Acting President of PMAN, Sunny Neji and five members of the NWC.
The NWC while expressing confidence that Mr Benibo would continue to provide purposeful leadership for the good of PMAN in Rivers State, said his exemplary dedication earned him the reappointment.
Subsequently, the NWC has set up of a five man caretaker committee to pilot the affairs of Rivers State.
Moses Mabadeje also known as Mozy B was appointed as chairman, Ezekiel Benibo - Secretary, Emma White, Solo Blanky, and Johnson Otteh were appointed as members.
The NWC therefore tasked the new CTC of PMAN in Rivers State to oversee the day to day activities of the union in the state and to ensure that all of its conducts align with the core objectives of PMAN.
It also charged the Rivers State PMAN CTC to set up motion in place for the conduct of a free, fair and credible election for the chapter in line with the constitutional guidelines of PMAN.
The National Working Committee of PMAN also charged the Rivers State CTC to engage with stakeholders to foster unity, corporation and to ensure professionalism in music practice in the state.
The NWC added that the Rivers State CTC must report regularly on the level of progress of work done and the challenges encountered in cause of discharging their duties.
