RIVERS YOUTHS COALITION COMMENDS GOV. FUBARA'S DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP AND URGES PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ADDRESS NATION
The Chairman of the Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Coalition, Engr. (Dr.) Legborsi Yamaabana, has commended the State Chief Executive Officer, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, KSC, GSSRS, for his exemplary democratic leadership.
Dr. Legborsi who doubles as the Khana Caretaker Committee Supervisor for Youth Affairs lauded Gov. Siminalayi Fubara's engagement with the End Bad Government protesters in Port Harcourt on Thursday, August 1, 2024, describing the Governor as a true democrat and called on the people of Rivers State to continue supporting Gov. Fubara by maintaining peace during and after the protest periods.
Furthermore, the renowned youth boss call on President Bola Tinubu to take decisive action by addressing the nation on the concerns of the protesters. He asserted that a timely address from President Tinubu will provide reassurance, clarify the government's stance, and outline actionable steps to address the protesters' grievances. Such an address has the potential to bring the protests to an end and restore calm.
